8th annual Golf Tourney a success!!!
The 8th Annual Boys & Girls Clubs of Indian River County Golf Tourney, held on November 16, 2009 at Vero Beach Country Club, was a great success! This year’s event featured two tournaments. A Pro Am event, with teams consisting of one Golf Pro and four amateurs, was held in the morning, and the Club’s regular annual tournament was held in the afternoon.
First place winners of the Pro Am tournament were Golf Professional Justin Bartlett, Bill Entringer, Charlie Bridgers, Stan Orczyk and Angus Hewitt.
First place winners in the Men’s division of the regular tournament were Bill Winslow, Bill Scully, Bob Baldwin and Nick Parks.
First place winners in the Women's division of the regular tournament were Karla Spooner, Carol Corr, Kelly Donovan, and Bea Marriot.
First place mixed division were Bob Allen, Becky Allen, Norm Miller and Rita Mille
