CONGRATULATIONS TO ASHLEY ALSTON, YVC'S VOLUNTEER OF THE SUMMER!  Ashely volunteered all summer long with YVC at projects at Harbor Chase, Feed the Lambs, and the Alterra Clare and Sterling Houses. She accumulated over 93 hours of service, which she will apply toward her graduation requirement at Indian River Charter High School. Ahsley enjoyed volunteering at Habor Chase where she had the opportunity to help the elderly by interacting with them daily. She assisted in the food and beverage department, played games with the residents, and even got to show off her singing abilities at the end of the summer.
